Oceanside Community Track Questions

If you were elected, what would you do to get the track funding over the finish line?
There are three key things I would do as your fresh voice on Parksville Council:
1) Use my role on Council to bring additional attention to the project within the community, especially with local businesses
2) Work with the School District, the RDN, and the Province to find funds
3) Change the way that Community Amenity Contributions from new projects in Parksville are handled. These monies should be in a “Parksville Enhancement Fund” that can be used to support recreational facilities, including the Oceanside Community Track

Anything else you would like voters to know about your views on the new Track?

I’ve been honoured to be a part of the committee working on this project since late 2020, and my business has donated our services. There’s a creative and dedicated team working hard to help make this track a reality. Let’s get this project across the finish line!
