A quick welcome from Joel

Read the transcript

Hi there, it's Joel Grenz and I wanted to welcome you to my website and thank you for taking the time to learn more about the local government candidates, some of whom will ultimately represent you for the next four years at the local government level. You'll find more information about my background and my priorities. You'll also be able to read the writings I've done over the past four years around some of the major issues in Parksville. And finally, there's a water pledge page. So on that page, we have an opportunity because there's a provincial election happening at the same time as our municipal election. I figure this would be a great chance for us to advocate for one of the main priorities we have in Parksville, which is to build more water infrastructure. And we will need provincial support to do that. So let's sign the petition and get the local MLA candidates to sign the pledge to advocate for our water needs when they get to Victoria in the provincial government so that we can get that for Parksville. So please take a look at that and sign that. Finally, I do want to invite you if you have any questions or you'd like to get involved in the campaign, please do reach out. I'd be happy to do a coffee or get on the phone. Let's work together to make the best possible Parksville. And then, of course, make sure you vote October 7th, October 14th or October 17th in the local government elections and then on October 24th for the provincial election. So thanks again for stopping by. I look forward to seeing you around the community.
